  • Interpersonal Listening and Speaking (ILS)
    • Your AAPPL Interpersonal Listening/Speaking score of I-2 means that you can maintain a conversation about yourself and your life. You also use your language to express your own thoughts and get the things that you need. You can use more than one sentence at a time. You ask and answer questions.   • Interpretive Reading/Listening (IR)
    • Your AAPPL Interpretive Reading/Listening score of I-2 means that you understand main ideas and supporting facts in short passages on familiar topics. You may need to read/hear the passage more than once. You may need visual cues, context clues, and prior knowledge to help you understand what you read/hear.   • Presentational Writing (PW)
    • Your AAPPL Presentational Writing score of I-2 means that you write about yourself and your life. You write well enough to ask simple questions and accomplish what you need. You can link some sentences together. You do all of this in a way that your teacher and others who are used to the writing of language learners can understand your writing.
